With COVID-19 there is an increased emphasis on online communication. Whether for learning, working or socializing, online communication has allowed us to connect and has provided some relief for the disconnect that many of us are experiencing during the pandemic.
Now, more than ever, youth, families and educators may be looking for resources to support positive online behaviour. SaskTel Be Kind Online is an initiative to bring awareness and education to cyber safety and cyberbullying. It is also a reminder that each and every one of us has an obligation to monitor our online behaviour and share in the opportunity to spread positivity. Be Kind Online asks today's youth to ensure the mark they leave online is a positive one.
There are a number of resources to support youth, families and educators to promote positive online behaviour. The resources can be used by educators or they can be shared with students and families as additional support tools during this unprecedented time. Youth can also find the Report Bullying SK tool on the website to report an incident.
Visit the Be Kind Online website at www.bekindonline.com to seek help and browse the resources.

What follows are collections of numeracy tasks organized according to grade bands – but these grade bands are only meant to be guideline. My experience is that these tasks tend to be upwardly applicable. That is, the tasks work well with students older than the band the task was designed for.
